(Now remember I warned you about me and Halloween.)
I found this story on a Disneyland Urban Legend site. I have never heard this story before and am curious if any of you have heard it? Leave me a comment and let me know if you've heard it and what you think?
1) Mr. One-WayMr. One-Way's story is perhaps also the most retold of them all. Though there are a few different accounts of Mr. One-Way, the consensus is that he's a spirit said to inhabit mainly the queue at Space Mountain.
There are some accounts that describe the friendly ghost (who appears to be a living being to the unsuspecting) as a "large man with reddish hair and a red face," while others report that Mr. One-Way is actually a young boy dressed in '70s clothing who was totally entranced with the ride while he was living. Witnesses report that the child version of Mr. One-Way will actually interact with guests in line, strike up conversation, and the more you talk, the more you realize the guy's not actually from our time: He has no idea of the new changes made to the park since his time.
Next? The spirit will hop on board the ride next to single passengers and disappear as soon as you hit that final flashy tunnel at the end of the ride.
Paranormal Blog reports that both the ride and the women's employee locker rooms are frequented by One-Way.
Here is the site I found the story on go check it out.
I also found this video on YouTube. Pay close attention to the bald man in the fourth row. You can see a light shadow walk from the exit platform and sit down next to him. I personally just think it's a shadow of another rider. ????
I'm going to apologize in advance but I'm a little bit of a Halloween fan. Right around mid August I start looking at decorations, costumes and whatever else I find. Well, I found this video on YouTube this morning and thought I would share it. What do you guys think?
For those of you who can't look up the answers on Facebook, here ya go. This is the entrance into Sleeping Beauty's Castle. As you walk through the entrance of the castle to the left is this door. It leads you through a walk threw of the Sleeping Beauty story and up into the Castle. I love it; my son has gotten a little spooked though. It is a bit scary.
Have you ever noticed the oval mirror about the checkout at the Mad Hatter's Shop in Fantasyland? Look closely the next time you are there. You will see the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland appear and then disappear! Gotta love all the details around the parks.
I previously posted about the original tickets booths at Disneyland and that there are three left in the park. The first I shared was the large mushroom that stands outside the Alice in Wonderland ride. The second original ticket booth that I want to share with you is this cute little house that stand by Casey Jr. Circus train.
I've also started a new facebook page. I would love to have everyone join my page so you can share your Disneyland experiences with me! Just like my page to the right in the FB box. One more thing, don't forget to test your Disney knowledge on the trivia poll. Thanks so much for reading my little blog. I hope you enjoy reading these fun facts as much as I enjoy sharing them with you.
This blog is for sharing our family adventures at Disneyland and fun facts that I learn about the park along the way! Most of the information on this blog are facts and tips I've learned from cast members or other Disney fans. I am just a mom with a little boy who both happen to love everything Disney. I will do my best to make sure everything I post is correct. If you have anything special you would like me to answer just leave a comment and I will post your questions on our blog. Revisiting Our Stone
My husband and I bought a stone at Disneyland in 2005 as a wedding gift to eachother.
Meet Kristie, she is my amazing Disney source who has worked at the park for 7 years. If I don't know the answer to one of your quesitons she will!
