Did you know that Disneyland Park has a secret menu? I recently found out that selected restaurants throughout the parks have unlisted menu items. We tried our first item on our last trip. These are dessert nacho from the Golden Horseshoe. I can't wait to visit again and try more of the secret menu items.

Special Touches
Here are some of the special details added to the New Holly Jolly bakery on Main Street.
It is centered around one of my favorite Disney movies, Mary Poppins.
I'm glad that Disneyland spends so much time and effort on the atmosphere of the park because I am never impressed with the food. What do you guys think? Do you enjoy the park food?

I am so excited that Disneyland finally added to Main Street. This space has been lacking for so long!

Yummy!
It's Blog hop Thursday and the topic for today is FOOD! YUM, that is a great topic! We love food in our house. We love food at Disneyland too! One of our favorite places is the:
Carnation Cafe
Lunch & Dinner
Main Street USA

Disneyland
My son loves to order the PB&J off the kids menu so he can make his own! It makes eating lunch a little more enjoyable. He forgets about asking if we can skip lunch to go back to the rides.
Don't forget to head on over to these two wonderful Disney blogs. They are co-hosting the hop today. Thanks Ladies, you are wonderful. I always learn something new when I read your blogs.

Fun w/Food
Hip Hip Hooray it's Hop Day! Blog Hopping that is! This weeks topic is FOOD! We have had so many wonderful experiences with food at Disneyland I had a really hard time deciding what I was going to share. I finally decided to share some of our Character Dining pictures! I love Character dining because it makes visiting with the characters so easy! You aren't searching for them all day long or waiting in lines, they come right to your table it's wonderful! Our first experience was the Minnie and Friends Breakfast. It seems to have the most characters and it offers early entry into the park! My son was two and had a blast! (He didn't eat much but Daddy made up for that.)
We also have been able to visit with Characters at Goofy's Kitchen! Goofy's Kitchen is located at the Hotel. I loved this breakfast as well but my favorite is still Minnie and Friends. (My son was three here.)
Disneyland offers other dining experiences as well! You have to make reservations for these and also Character Dining so call in advance. Here is the phone number,
714-781-DINE (3463).

Yummy
Main Street
There are vents located down Main Street that blow different scents. One of the most noticeable smells
is outside of the candy shop, they pump the smell of vanilla into the street, except at Christmas, when it is peppermint. Another vent is located by the ice cream parlor.

Coffee!
The Market House
"on Main Street (on the right side as you are walking in) is the only place where you can get refills on coffee in the park. The cost is $2.79 per cup AND we found out that this is the only coffee shop in the park that makes a special “Disney Brew” that is top secret and supposed to be really good! We got this info from a Cast Member on November 3rd, so it is recent information. Make sure to keep your receipt."

Another fun fact is that if you pop your balloon in the park and take the pieces up to a vendor they will give you a new one! There is nothing worse than popping or watching your balloon float away when you are a kid.
Mouse Wait is a Free app for your iphones, it gives you wait times for the rides and other info about the park when you visit.
