Special Guest Post

I have a special friend sharing a post with us this week! I'd like to introduce Lisa from Over the Big Moon! Don't let here fool you, even though she doesn't blog about Disneyland, she is just as much a fan as the rest of us!

Hi there Mouse Encounters!I am so excited to be here today. I'm pretty sure my "cool factor" as an Aunt is going up for being a guest on a Disney blog!
My name is Lisa and I am one of the girls behind Over the Big Moon. A blog all about family, kiddos, home decor, DIY, and free print ables!

Today I want to share with you a cool experience we had on our last trip to Disneyland. I watched a Secrets to Disneyland video a long time ago and in it they said that out of the 68 horses on the carousel only 1 has a gold tooth and that it was Walt Disney's favorite horse. The horses name is Doubloon. I did a little research and it seems that most people agree that it was actually Lillian's horse.
Meet Doubloon

We have looked for him before and not found him but on our last trip to Disneyland as we were getting on the carousel he was right there and our son Davis chose him to ride on.

So the next time you are at Disneyland and going on the carousel, keep your eye out for Doubloon!
Thank you Lori for having me today!

I love the little bits of info about Disney. When you finally find them for yourself, you feel special about it. Nice photos!

Thanks for sharing - I've never been able to find Doubloon either. Maybe on our next trip :)
